Supporting small businesses this holiday season!
The holidays are in full swing and today is Cyber Monday which means time to shop till you drop (online!) It’s the best sale day of the year and due to the pandemic, many of us are finding ourselves shopping online more than ever. Due to the lockdowns and closures in many states, I wanted to highlight many small businesses this year in my 2020 Holiday gift guide. I think it’s vital to promote and broadcast many brands that have been suffering this year because a lot of them offer beautiful gifts that would look perfect underneath your Christmas tree. Not to mention that many of these brands are having some amazing sales on wonderful items that you and your family will love! Check out my favorite items this year that will bring you a little more cheer :)
The Wonder List Holiday Gift Guide 2020
Terrain: If you are looking for a store that carries holiday lights, ornaments, and all around Christmas decor, than look no further than Terrain. I came upon this store in Los Angeles and they have some incredible lights that will make your house look the best on the block. They carry everything from Enchanting Entertainment Essentials to Ornaments that will highlight your tree in the most illuminating way. I purchased these copper lights to decorate my walls along with this globe that literally lights up my entire dining room. They have an amazing sale happening right now so head on over and check it out!
Child of Wild: One of the coolest jewelry companies that I discovered is Child of WIld. They specialize in everything from gold pendants and layered necklaces to using mixed metals with stones and all in between. They carry truly unique and beautiful jewels. I recently purchased the Halo necklace and I can’t wait for it to arrive! They also have a 40% off sale going on right now!
Polkadots and Moonbeams: if you are looking for some great vintage finds and some fantastic everyday attire, Polkadots and Moonbeams is the jam. They have a storefront in LA but a ton to choose from online. The best part? They are having a sale right now where items are 20-50% off! How cool is that? I recently purchased a For Love and Lemons dress that was in mint condition and it was from their 2017 spring collection. The girls in your family will love these finds!
Wolf Ceramics: looking for some cute dinnerware for your next holiday party? Check out Wolf Ceramics. Handmade in Portland, Oregon, this brand specializes in everything from vases to serving dishes and all in between. I purchased one of their speckled mugs and I literally drink my coffee in it daily. They carry a variety of items that are building in popularity and are selling out like crazy on the west coast. Check them out!
Heal: give your family the gift of health this holiday season with the new app, Heal. Downloading the app is free and it’s the most convenient and safe way of getting medical care to your family. I made an appointment this week to get my flu shots for my husband and I and all we had to do is make an appointment directly through the app. Just create a profile for you and your family and choose the most convenient day and time to book your appointment. It’s so easy! You can also get pediatricians through the app. Heal is the perfect way to book house calls for doctors and they even offer other services such as therapy and telemedicine.
Soludos: A girl can’t live without some cute shoes! I recently came across Soludos and it is now my new favorite brand of shoes! I recently went a little overboard and bought 3 pairs! My favorite pair I received are the Cosmic Star Sneakers. They carry everything from decorative sneakers to darling espadrilles all the way to casual sandals! Comfy, boho, and chic…this footwear company is gonna blow up big in 2021.
The Sill: Calling all plant-lovers! 2020 was the year of house-plants and, because of Covid, many of us found ourselves expressing our inner green thumb and turned our apartments/homes into plant sanctuaries. Introducing The Sill, a brand that delivers indoor-potted plants straight to your door. Succulents, ponytail palms and ferns are a just a few of the plants you can find at this cute site. I’ve been a big fan of putting potted plants everywhere in my house and The Sill was my go-to destination for adding a little more 02 to my life. They are offering a big sale for Cyber Weekend and I encourage you to check it out!
These are my top faves for small businesses of 2020. I think it’s more personal and unique to shop small and find creative gifts for your family members during the holidays. Shoot me a DM on my IG (@thewonderlistxyz) and let me know what you find! Happy Shopping!
