The Platform: An Outdoor Experience in Culver City!
Angelenos (LA Civilians) are often on the search for the next best thing. The hottest new restaurant, the newest outdoor shopping center, and the trendiest new salon this town has to offer. Many of us love to ascertain where events are happening and find out when the next pop up is, well, popping up! Welcome to the Platform. A design quarter located in Culver City, California that houses restaurants, shops, and fitness studios all in a revamped industrial building. They wanted to change the face of shopping and dining, after all, malls around the country are dying out. I took a day to check it out and it was so cute! They feature stores like Aesop, Freda Salvador, and my personal favorite, The Reformation. If you’re looking for something to nibble on, check out Loqui, Van Leeuwen, and The Boba Guys. It’s a wonderful place to stroll around during the day and take your kids to people watch. (I love to people watch). There is a beautiful painting designed by the brilliant, Jen Stark, on the side of the parking structure. If you haven’t been, def a must see!
