The Renassiance Pleasure Faire

Take a step back in time with me to a place where you can find Kings, Queens, Wizards and Elves. A magical place where fairies are whimsically dancing and pirates are consuming their strong libations. Welcome to the Renassiance Pleasure Faire. This past weekend, my husband (Jon Snow) and I (his maiden) dressed up and went to the Faire that was held just outside of LA. It was a trip to say the least.

As we waltzed into the Faire, we couldn’t help but gaze at all the amazing people that surrounded us. Decorated with the most beautiful costumes, these people brought the characters to life. Jack Sparrow was seen running around chasing after women. The knights from Monty Python were coated in armor and galloping along to the sound of the fellow in the back clapping coconuts. The people of Steampunk were huddled together ready for some action. What a sight to see! The festival featured knife throwing, jousting, handicrafts, and turkey legs. I decided to jump on a swing with my girlfriend that was so much fun! If you’ve never been to the Renassiance Faire in your city, you should go.
